The rules
| Rule | What the help page says | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Hold period | No pending/escrow period published - only the Monday-night cutoff Neither of the two payout-timing articles nor the payments/banking or taxes articles describe a pending, escrow or rolling-reserve window. The only timing gate published is the weekly calculation boundary: money earned through Monday night is calculated Tuesday 12:01 AM Eastern and sent Wednesday. Chargeback clawback mechanics are not documented publicly either; the only chargeback text on the legal page is a warning to creators that removing most of their content while they still have subscribers "will lead to chargebacks". | justforfans.zendesk.com checked 2026-09-04 |
| Payout day | Weekly (calculated Tue 12:01 AM ET, paid Wednesday) or monthly - creator picks "How often do you pay performers?": "We offer weekly or monthly payout options. We pay out automatically weekly or monthly after you reach the USD $50 minimum threshold." "My Payout Is Missing Or Late": "Payouts are made on Wednesday based on totals calculated at the end of Monday." A third setting, "hold - do not pay", pauses payouts entirely; it lives under All Model Options in the left menu. US creators can pay $2 to expedite a payment (justfor.fans/payouts). | justforfans.zendesk.com checked 2026-09-04 |
| Review / approval | Verification review under 72h once queued; 6 prerequisites before you enter the queue "It usually takes less than 72 hours to become verified once you enter the queue to review, but you won't enter the verification queue until you have completed this list of requirements." The six steps: biometric photo-ID age check; W-9 for US creators (waived for non-US once banking info is submitted); a one-time MasterCard-mandated general consent agreement; public, active adult social-media profiles ("if we cannot see your social media, we cannot take it into consideration"); a valid payment method on file; and at least five real pieces of content - "We do not verify empty or 'placeholder' pages." | justforfans.zendesk.com checked 2026-09-04 |
| Platform share | 20% platform share (15% for the exclusive program) Help article "What percentage of sales do I receive?": "Performers earn 80% on all sales, while performers in our exclusive program get 85% on tips, store sales, private media, SMS, and more." The terms of the exclusive program are not published anywhere on the help centre or the legal page. | justforfans.zendesk.com checked 2026-09-04 |
| Payout currency | USD throughout - earnings, the $50 minimum and all fan pricing Site footer on the live legal page: "All prices are in US Dollars (USD). Local currency amounts are approximate estimates." The payout article states the threshold as "$50 USD". No FX or conversion policy for payouts is published on any help article or on the legal page. | justfor.fans checked 2026-09-04 |
| Tax form before payout | US: W-9 + SSN validation before verification. Non-US: waived once banking info is on file Verification step 2: "If you are based in the US, you will need to create a form W9... NON-USA performers, this step will be waived once you submit your banking information to indicate you are not based in the USA." The W-9 article adds: "Enter your tax info, click 'generate W-9,' and our system will handle it. Verify your SSN by clicking 'validate SSN.'" Business filers must upload IRS correspondence (e.g. an SS4 confirmation) proving the business tax ID. Earnings over $600/yr are reported to the IRS. | justforfans.zendesk.com checked 2026-09-04 |
| Statement export | Payout history in-app back to Jan 2020; 1099 is self-service on request; no CSV export documented "How do I find my 1099?": Stats > Track Payouts > "Request 2025 1099 form" under the Tax Forms section; "You can also scroll back through your 'payout history' to January 2020-2024 if you need forms from prior years", and "When requested, the appropriate 1099 will be emailed to the address on file." 1099s are issued only to US performers who earned over $600 in the calendar year. No downloadable CSV or accounting export is mentioned in any of the 107 help articles searched today. | justforfans.zendesk.com checked 2026-09-04 |
The gotchas
"Any incoming sales after payout has been calculated on Tuesday will be added to the next week's payout. In other words, we calculate totals at the end of Monday night." Two related traps in the missing-payout article: if you are under $50 at 12AM Eastern Tuesday you are simply skipped that week, and the "hold - do not pay" setting (or having picked monthly) silently pauses payouts until you change it back under All Model Options.
justforfans.zendesk.com checked 2026-09-04"For security, your banking info isn't viewable." - once saved you cannot read back what is on file, only overwrite it. "Our team reviews your banking details but can't verify account or routing numbers. Incorrect info causing a returned payment may incur a $15 fee." The missing-payout article points at the same failure mode: "Something wrong with your payout information. If you've never received a payout before to that account, that is the most likely reason. Re-enter your banking information!"
justforfans.zendesk.com checked 2026-09-04"We do bank transfers for USA, EU and UK content creators as well as Canada, Australia, and Mexico. At the moment, people from all other countries must use a either cryptocurrency to get paid (like Bitcoin) or they can use Paxum." There is no SWIFT wire, PayPal, Wise, Payoneer, cheque or Cosmopayment option published anywhere on the help centre. Since everything is denominated in USD and JFF publishes no conversion policy, the coin/Paxum spread is entirely on the creator.

| All methods | — | — | Sent Wednesday for weekly payouts; arrival time not published (shown per payment in-app) The help centre publishes no transit time for any rail. "My Payout Is Missing Or Late" tells creators to open Stats > Track Payouts, where "you can view all payments sent out to you and their expected arrival date", and to wait: "Delays can happen due to holidays or weekends, but if it's over a couple of days late, please contact us to trace your payment." The expected-arrival figure is generated per payment behind the login, so no published per-rail day count exists. | justforfans.zendesk.com checked 2026-09-04 |
