Fansly payout rules
Hold 7 days, rolling per transaction · payout on demand · minimum USD 20–100 depending on method. Last checked 2026-09-04. Help centre.
Fansly has no payout day. You request a withdrawal once the hold has passed; "delivery" below is the time from request to arrival for each method.
The rules
| Rule | What the help page says | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Hold period | 7 days, rolling per transaction Each sale unlocks exactly seven days after it was earned, transaction by transaction, rather than on a weekly cut-off. Money earned at 1pm on the 13th is available at 1pm on the 20th. There is no separate weekly or monthly release batch for the pending balance itself. | help.fansly.com checked 2026-09-04 |
| Payout day | on demand No fixed payout day. The creator requests a withdrawal from the Earnings Wallet whenever the balance clears the method's minimum; the request then goes through Approved -> Processing -> Processed. | help.fansly.com checked 2026-09-04 |
| Review / approval | Reviewed within 48 hours Approval is a manual review step that happens before the payout enters Processing. Requests below a method's soft minimum sit in Approved status until cumulative approved requests clear the minimum. | help.fansly.com checked 2026-09-04 |
| Platform share | Platform keeps 20% (creator gets 80%) Applies to subscriptions, sold media, messages and tips alike. The same page states there are no add-on payout, processing or currency-conversion fees on top. | help.fansly.com checked 2026-09-04 |
| Payout currency | USD only, both sides Fansly does not pay out in local currency itself; if the receiving account is in another currency the receiving bank or card provider does the conversion at its own rate. | help.fansly.com checked 2026-09-04 |
| Bank statement shows | Not published Fansly does not publish a bank-statement descriptor for creator deposits anywhere in its help centre. The commonly repeated 'SELECT MEDIA LLC' string could not be sourced to a live Fansly page today. | help.fansly.com checked 2026-09-04 |
| US withholding | None withheld, including for non-US creators Fansly collects W-9 (US) or W-8BEN / DAC7 (non-US) forms for reporting purposes only; it does not deduct US withholding tax from payouts. Creators are responsible for reporting and paying tax in their own jurisdiction. | help.fansly.com checked 2026-09-04 |
| Tax form before payout | Tax forms required before any withdrawal You can earn and watch the balance grow without tax documents, but the withdraw path stays blocked until the form is on file: W-9 for US creators, W-8BEN or DAC7 information for non-US creators. | help.fansly.com checked 2026-09-04 |
| Statement export | No export documented; view-only earnings stats The Earning Statistics tab sits next to Wallet and supports filters, but the help centre documents no CSV download, statement download or API for earnings data. | help.fansly.com checked 2026-09-04 |
The gotchas
If the account has no activity for 12 consecutive months, Fansly deducts $5 a month until the balance is zero. For creators the spending balance is drained first, then earnings. Fansly's article notes that any login counts as activity.
help.fansly.com checked 2026-09-04Fansly advertises no payout or conversion fees on its side, but SWIFT wires arrive through a third-party payer and the receiving bank sets its own incoming-transfer fee and FX rate. On a $100 wire minimum that fee can be a meaningful share of the payout.
help.fansly.com checked 2026-09-04Fansly sends international bank transfers and crypto payouts every three days. After a send, a 72-hour cooldown starts and any requests made during it are grouped into a single later transaction. A request made just after a batch goes out waits for the next cycle.
help.fansly.com checked 2026-09-04SEPA is a soft limit: you can request from $20, but the money stays in Approved status until cumulative approved requests reach $50 or 14 days elapse, whichever comes first. Planning around a small SEPA withdrawal means planning for a two-week wait.
