Chaturbate payout rules

"Be sure to convert any tokens earned before the end of the pay period to ensure a full payment." and, among the listed reasons a payout never arrived: broadcasters "have not earned the minimum payout, did not convert tokens, or have converted tokens into the next pay period." Conversion is a manual click in Token Stats and requires active age verification. Studio broadcasters cannot convert at all: "Broadcasters who are in a studio cannot convert their tokens to payment; their token balance will be sent to the studio every night automatically." Cutoff is midnight CB Time (Mountain).

"Note: If you provide incorrect bank account information your payment may be delayed for up to 30 days." And: "This payment method is only available in the USA and can only be sent to a checking or savings bank account. Chaturbate cannot send direct deposits internationally or to preloaded gift cards." Separately, the send window and the bank's own processing time stack: payouts leave within 7 business days of period end, then "Please allow 2-7 business days for your bank to process the deposit", which is longer than the 1-3 business days quoted in the payment-options table.

"EFT payments will be converted by our payment processor on the date that payment is processed. Please note that Multi Media has no involvement in establishing the exchange rate. This is solely done by the payment provider that we have procured. Prior to making this payment method accessible to everyone, we conducted substantial testing and obtained positive feedback about the rate used by our provider." No spread or margin figure is published, so the CAD amount received is unknowable in advance. The $8.95 processing fee is charged on top, in USD.

Wire appears twice in the live help centre and nowhere else in the payout documentation. The Canada EFT article offers it as the fallback for non-US USD accounts: "For USD accounts, we would have the option of ACH if your account is in the US or Wire if it's not." The daily-payout article sets its request floor: "You will need at least $500.00 in converted tokens before you can request a daily payout for Wire." Wire is absent from the payment-options table in "How do I get paid?" and from the minimums table, so its semi-monthly minimum, processing fee and delivery window are undocumented.

The dedicated check article says 1-2 weeks within the US and 2-4 weeks international for Check by Mail, and 2-5 days US / 7-10 days international for FedEx. The payment-options table in "How do I get paid?" says 2-5 business days US and 2-4 weeks international for both check rails. "When will I receive my payment?" gives a third set: 2-7 business days domestic, 7-10 business days Canada, 2-6 weeks international. Also: "Checks are sent via regular mail with no tracking number. To receive a tracking number, you need to select the FedEx option." Undeliverable checks are returned to Chaturbate and the creator is contacted for a new address.

"If a payment we attempt to send you fails, the funds will be added back to your Chaturbate account. We'd suggest that you update your payment information, after which you can request a daily payout for the returned payment at the bottom of https://chaturbate.com/affiliates/stats/." That recovery path only works for creators who already qualify for Daily Payouts (2 prior payouts for US, 4 for international); everyone else waits for the next semi-monthly cycle. The same return-to-balance mechanism is described for uncashable checks and for returned Paxum payments.

"Cryptocurrency payouts have a $200.00 minimum and a variable network fee per payout request." Bitcoin and Ethereum are $45.00; Tether is 35 USDT + 0.9%; USD Coin is 35 USDC + 0.9%. On top: "Crypto payments are subject to variable network fees, which are assessed by the blockchain and passed on at the time of the transaction. We are not involved in estimating or charging these fees." And the exchange-rate risk sits with the creator: "the exchange rate when you receive your payment may differ from when you requested your payout or when we made the cryptocurrency purchase... If you are uncomfortable with these fluctuations, we strongly recommend you choose a more stable payout method."

Availability row reads "US & most countries (excluding India)". Chaturbate's own $0.50 fee is only the first fee: "They have a fee schedule for withdrawing money on their end (like every other wallet provider)." A payout will not land unless the wallet is in good standing: "In order for your payment to pass through to your Paxum account it must have Status - Active (Verified) and not be Limited or Closed." Returning a Paxum payout to Chaturbate requires sending it back to the Paxum address Chaturbate publishes with no payment code and notifying support.
